Welcome to Rydon Ghana. By downloading, installing, or using the Rydon app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Rydon, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Rydon is a technology platform that connects passengers seeking transportation with independent driver-partners in Ghana. Rydon does not provide transportation services directly — we provide the technology platform that facilitates connections between users and drivers.

6. Payments and Fees

Fares are calculated based on distance, time, ride type, and applicable surge multipliers. Payment is processed through Paystack via mobile money or card. Rydon takes a service fee from each trip. Drivers receive their earnings via mobile money payout. All fares are in Ghana Cedis (GHS).

Surge pricing may apply during high-demand periods. You will be notified of surge pricing before confirming your booking.

Both passengers and drivers are rated after each trip. Ratings must be honest and based on your experience. Fake or malicious ratings are prohibited. Users with consistently low ratings may be suspended from the platform.

9. Safety

Rydon is committed to the safety of all users. We conduct background checks and document verification on all drivers. However, Rydon cannot guarantee the conduct of drivers or passengers. In an emergency, always contact Ghana emergency services (112 for police, 193 for fire, 193 for ambulance). The in-app SOS feature connects you to emergency services.

11. Limitation of Liability

Rydon provides a technology platform and is not liable for the actions of drivers or passengers. To the maximum extent permitted by Ghanaian law, Rydon's liability is limited to the amount paid for the trip in question. Rydon is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Disputes

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. We encourage users to contact our support team first to resolve disputes amicably before pursuing legal action.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of Rydon after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes through the app.
