How much does Rydon cost? +

Fares are calculated upfront based on distance, time, and demand. You see the exact price before you confirm — no surprises. Starting from as low as GHS 12 for short trips in Accra. Surge pricing applies during peak hours or rain, and you're always notified before paying.

How do I pay — do I need a card? +

No card needed! We accept MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AirtelTigo Money, debit/credit card, and cash. Most riders in Ghana pay with MTN MoMo — it's fast, safe, and no need to carry change.

Is Rydon safe to use? +

Every driver is background-checked and identity-verified with their Ghana Card and driver's license before they can go online. Every trip is tracked live. You can share your live trip location with family or friends. We have a 24/7 safety support line for emergencies.

How much can I earn as a driver? +

Which cities is Rydon available in? +

Rydon is available in Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape Coast, Koforidua, Sunyani, and Tamale. We're expanding across Ghana every month. If your city isn't listed, join our waitlist and we'll notify you first when we launch near you.

How do I apply to drive? +

Download the Rydon Driver app, create your account, and complete our KYC process by uploading your Ghana Card, driver's license, and a clear photo of your vehicle. Our team reviews applications within 24 hours. Once approved, you can go online immediately.

What type of car do I need to drive? +

Any road-worthy vehicle that is properly registered and insured in Ghana. Saloon cars, SUVs, and minivans are all accepted. Your vehicle must be no older than 15 years and pass a basic safety check. Trotros and commercial taxis with existing hackney permits are welcome too.

What if there's a problem with my trip? +

Report any issue directly in the app after your trip — wrong route, overcharge, safety concern. Our support team responds within 2 hours during business hours. Urgent safety issues are escalated immediately. Refunds for genuine overcharges are processed to your MoMo within 24 hours.
